<span style='font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family: "Lucida Sans","sans-serif"'>The purchase of the lawn tractor went very well.
Shipping was fast. The delivery also went well, albeit I was concerned when the delivery driver called and said he was driving a 45-foot tractor trailer. I live in a residential area; luckily I don’t live in a cul-de-sac or on
a dead-end street. Even though our driveway is 112 feet long and a fairly steep grade, we were able to push/pull the mower with a pallet jack.
Fortunately, our driveway is a smooth asphalt one.
<span style='font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family: "Lucida Sans","sans-serif"'>Anyway, the first thing I noticed was the original crate had been broken off the pallet.
So the pallet portion of the crate was strapped on top of a regular size pallet (I’m not sure why this was done).
So all that was protecting the mower was the plastic wrapped around it.
<span style='font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family: "Lucida Sans","sans-serif"'>Luckily, the mower did not receive any serious damage.
Upon inspection I did notice the paint was scrapped off of the edge of the mower deck on the front side of the chute. No doubt from the tip of a fork on a forklift.
I’ve since primed and painted the scrape to prevent rust.
Also there is a small scrape and several holes on the top of the seat.
I’m not sure how this could have happened but I’ll have to get a vinyl repair kit to fix that before it gets worse.
<span style='font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family: "Lucida Sans","sans-serif"'>All in all I’m very pleased with the transaction.
The Simplicity Regent is a very good mower (a cut above the rest in my opinion) and Mowers at Jacks sold it at a reasonable price.
<span style='font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family: "Lucida Sans","sans-serif"'>So yes I would recommend buying a lawn mower from Mowers at Jacks.
