The TRZ230S features a 22.5 cc, 0.94 horsepower engine and its light weight makes the trimmer extra portable for landscaping use. A Strato-Charged engine ensures up to 20% better fuel economy than a traditional two-stroke engine while increasing torque and improving emissions. A steel drive shaft with 7-point splined engagement ensures durability and quick acceleration.

Review:

As head of buildings and grounds at a school, I became familiar with Redmax equipment, and though it often went through abuse, over use, and sometimes misuse, it held up extremely well. When I retired and went to purchase a weedwhacker, I had no question about what brand I would get. Delivery was quick, and I am pleased to have gotten the same great quality I expected. Thank you.

excellent trimmer once you get it adjusted in. Not ready to use right out of the box. would not rev up until carb was adjusted. had to take it to repair shop for this since I dont have the tool. Also, I put a speed feed head on it but the spacer/ parts for attaching the head were not the right ones as well as the owners manual was for a different model. Fortunately, I already have two of this model and could use parts off one of the old ones that I was replacing. used two of them commercially for 4 years before having any problems. I would recommend this product even though there were some minor issues. Power to weight and ergonomics are great. Carb adjustment I'd say is the weak spot.
