The attachment only worked for two uses. Internal components jammed and quit working. Several attempts to fix but was unsuccessful. Very disappointing.

Love the hedge trimmer. It tackles the 5/8" branches without a whimper and has more bolts holding it together than my old Ryobi, which gave up the battle after 4 years.

This is an excellent hedge trimmer attachment for the money. I have a Stihl straight shaft trimmer and all I had to do to make it work was to remove the click-in adapter piece at the end (not sure with the piece if it would work with there Kombi system trimmers?) and connect it! Stihl wants $250 for there adjustable angle trimmer attachment, which yes is probably heavier duty, but this is great for occasional use.

Also Mowers at Jacks had a great price with free shipping. It was back ordered but they sent it at the estimated ship date that was stated in the listing and got it in about a week after it was shipped.

This is the second of these attachments I've purchased. I wore the first one out in about 2 years. It's heavy but it's the only tool I can find that allows me to trim some extremely tall and thick hedges.

The Hedge Trimmer Attachment works as designed, although the diameter of what I was cutting was relatively small, so I wasn't fully testing it. The immediate drawbacks to using it are that it vibrates (a lot) and is heavy.

Totally satisfied so far with my Poulan hedge trimmer attachment. I use it with my Craftsman 31cc gas trimmer. The attachment works very well and the angle adjustment is perfect for difficult areas. so far so good.

How does this Trimmer compare to the Shindaiwai Hedge Trimmer. I know it is shorter by more than half but I am looking at cutting power and what it can cut rather than length. I want to be able to trim thick/wide pampas grass as well as trim bushes and shrubs.

Jon, this Poulan hedge trimmer attachment is capable of making a 5/8" cut. The power also depends on the engine of the trimmer as well.
