Self-propelled is worth the extra because of the weight very good blower this is my 2nd little wander blower first one doesn't have self-propel this is the reason for the change.

Review:
The blower works fine but I had an issue with the vertical rod being too long and scraping the clutch cable.  I e-mailed JACKS about the problem and no one responded. I would hope when you spend over $3000 for a product that you would get some quality service after the purchase. Apparently not in this case.

I got the problem resolved through another source.
