_Husqvarna has done it again! Much improved blower over the older Husqvarna 436LiB which is a good blower also. Quiet operation for use without ear plugs on both models 230iB/436LiB. Much more air volume with the 230iB over the 436LiB especially when using
the turbo air button. 230iB buttons are a lot easier to use especially with cruise control use with turbo air on which was not available with the 436LiB. You had to hold the turbo button down on the 436LiB to use turbo. Not the case with the 230iB, you can
use turbo with cruise control so you do not have to stress your thumb out holding it down for long periods of use. 230iB comes with a generous BLi22 battery and QC250 charger which you can hang this charger on the wall unlike older QC330 charger versions.
Battery management with this new blower is superior over the 436LiB. The blower automatically throttles the blower speed down slightly when the battery gets low on power to extend the battery use time which was not available on the 436LiB. This helps you get
the job done with just ONE small light weight BLi22 battery or ONE larger battery. The battery management benefits are a big welcome helping you estimate job size vs battery reserve left. I find that I use the turbo button less on the 230iB because of the
larger air volume it puts out which gives longer run time. 230iB weighs 5 lbs 12.2 ounces W/O battery vs 5 lbs 9 .2 ounces W/O battery for the 436lib using my personal weight scale. The unique handle area actually gives you 3 handles you can hold on to while
using it which is very useful for awkward job uses that come up. 230iB has lots of nice rubberized grip surfaces on the handle area vs the older 436LiB. Big improvement in this blower is it is very stable when placing it on the ground vs the older 436LiB.
The 230iB stays upright without tipping over due to the new wider ground stance design. Another improvement is the 230iB underside wall hanger is much sturdier than the 436LiB for wall hanging the blower is how I store mine. I am super happy with this blower
and use it every day. It is quiet enough that I can run it earlier and later in the day without upsetting neighbor’s vs a gas blower which are super loud. It is so nice to use I find myself looking for excuses to use it. I have a Husqvarna 580BTS backpack
blower which gets used a lot less now due to this new 230iB.
