Review:
This saw is as advertised. I am cleaning out the trees and shrubs that sprang up between the rows of a pine tree plantation. The typical growths that require removal are 1" to 4" diameter. Those of 2.5" or less go down very quickly, while the larger
ones normally require a cut on both sides, but it still doesn't take long. A downside to the saw is that the blade gets dull quickly and requires filing routinely, but if you are clearing out a lot of material, that isn't a surprise. The harness system keeps
the majority of the stress off your lower back (as compared to bending over repeatedly to make all the same cuts with a chain saw) and it also helps keep the saw in good control if the blade catches and jumps. This machine is definitely pricey, but it helps
get a lot of work done. Snake chaps are a good idea when running the saw!
