Great deal on a great trimmer! I nearly fell into the "bigger is better" trap but this "Husky" (Honda engine) is plenty powerful. And I don't care for noisy 2-strokes. By comparison this 4-stroke engine sounds mellow and throaty, not harsh and raspy like the 2-strokes.It's relatively quiet and has lots of torque. With fresh gas it starts easy every time! I'm looking forward to many years of strong service.

This trimmer has plenty of power and starts with ease. I did get weeds wrapped around the head a few times but that was my own fault for getting in a hurry. Very happy with this purchase.

I've owned several different brands of string trimmers over the last 20 or so years.

Mostly 2 cycle trimmers. This is the second 4 cycle trimmer that I've owned and by far it is the best. The engine cranks on the second pull every time with no hassle.

It is easy to change the string on this style trimmer head and it always works when needing to extend the string, one simple bump does it. The other 4 cycle trimmer I owned dripped oil and had to be refilled before each use. The husky has no oil leaks

and I've never had to add oil between oil changes. The high torque allows for slow revolutions while trimming around flowers and etc. with precise control of the trimmer head. The unit runs very quietly with no exhaust smoke. Other than price, I can not understand why anyone would buy anything else.

I have only used this trimmer a couple of times since receiving it but so far it is great. It is very quiet and not very heavy at all for a 4-stroke. Mowers at Jacks was very prompt with shipping and my experience purchasing from them was pleasant.
