Question:

I have this and used it this weekend. I am new to this as well. I didn't know what is the best speed to drive the tractor with the dethatcher in tow. Slow fast? Also there was a lot of thatch and grass "stuck" on the tines. I had to stop often to clear it off. Is this how is it supposed to operate properly or did I do something wrong? Thanks.

Answer:

Carrie, it is recommened you mow at a moderate speed, not fast. If your grass is wet, this may cause the thatch to stick to the tines.
