Review:
Hands down the best in its class. Worth every bit of basically double the price of cheaper mowers.
The Roto-Stop system is worth well more than $100 extra - far more useful than a battery start every time you need to pause to move something or empty the bag. GET IT and skip the battery. Starts easy first pull.
I prefer the Smart Drive system to the more expensive "cruise control" system - it's basically cruise control but you can partially engage it and it is not dependent on a non-serviceable hydrostatic transmission.
Bags well - and with the Roto-Stop when it gets partially full I can disengage the blade and feel comfortable tapping the bag with my foot to move the grass to the back of the bag to fit even more.
I thought the partial mulch system was gimmicky, but it's made well, easy to use, and surprisingly handy. I'm glad to have it.
Duel blades - as advertised - there's nothing on the market like them. Small clippings, even cut, and right to the very edge of the deck. There are edges I used to have to weedwack that this thing cuts clean - another benefit of the rear discharge.
Some reviews note you have to adjust the wheels individually. So what? It's really easy, and one of the few mowers that has an inch measurement labeled for the approximate height.
Engine - best in class, with a nice no choke system and fuel valve.
My one complaint is the tread on the wheels is somewhat slick. I feel the drive wheels will spin out on the grass from time to time possibly leaving a mark. But quite possibly that is intentional - because if the tread were aggressive with the drive power
the other option could be tearing up the grass. This is nothing to lower its marks for - the drive system is more effective than any mower I've ever had. It works great despite what the tread looks like.
6 year warranty! Absurd really.
To boot - the free shipping from Jack's had it at my door in 2 days.
