The EU1000i is quieter than your normal conversation making it perfect for overnight camping or other activities that require less noise. And designed to be lightweight this generator is easy to transport for any operation.

  • CO-MINDER: Advanced Carbon Monoxide Detection SystemCO-MINDER™ continuously monitors carbon monoxide (CO) levels. It automatically shuts down the generator before detected CO levels near the generator become dangerously high.
  • Honda Quiet: Special sound dampening materials and Honda's Eco-Throttle technology make these inverter generators very quiet.
  • Fuel Efficient: The Eco-Throttle System automatically adjusts the engine speed to operate at an optimum level. Run up to 8.3 hours on one tank.
  • Lightweight: The lightweight compact design makes this 29 pound inverter very portable.
  • Parallel Capability: If you need more power, two identical models can be paralleled with a cable or cord to produce up to 2000 Watts.
  • Oil Alert: The engine shuts off when low oil is detected.

Already had the EU2200i and this new EU1000i has always been on my "bucket list. Is quieter than I imagined, and very light & portable. When I needed one that week and EVERYWHERE that sold Honda generators didn't have any..... except Jack's!! They had 84 in stock at that moment, and were a real pleasure to deal with. I had my generator in just 2 days! I wasn't interested in the new CO shutdown feature, but it had one, and I anticipate a headache in 10 years when it's time to bypass or replace the sensor. Love how it starts on every first pull!

Very quiet. Bought it to do some testing with a StarLink for the Ukraine War - a 0.6 gallon tank powered a StarLink with a computer streaming YouTube videos for 10 hours! And it is very quiet and idiot proof.

Review:
I purchased this unit to charge the batteries on my sons Track Chair as it was recommended by the company who made the chair; however, it did not sufficiently charge the batteries as expected.  I went through two tanks of gas and the charge never increased as indicated by the charge gauges.  For other uses, the Honda worked as it should and in that respect it appears to be a great product.  It runs quietly and smoothly.
