Chop up debris with the 5 blade impeller and suck it up at a speed of 1700 cfm with enough power from the Briggs & Stratton engine to move around your yard at 17500 sq. ft. per hour. Collect up to 40 gallons of debris in the zipperless mesh bag. Marine style fasteners keep the bag shut and are easier for unloading/loading. And, dust is kept away from the operator with an internal dust cover to keep your vision clear.

Vacuum work great, but it is heavy and i should of spent the extra for the self propelled model. I feel it could mulch a little better and the bag is cumbersome when emptying into a recycle bag. I wish i could have the self propelled added to this machine since i see the cut outs are on this model and the machine difference is only this feature.

Works very well, you can see that this leaf vac was well thought out. Love the non zipper bag. Unit is very loud but, hey, what would you expect from a machine that has great vacuum suction.

Easy to set up, appears solidly made. A bit noisy, but picks up leaves and compacts them very well. Only negative is that my shoes and bottom of my pants got very dirty from the dust escaping the bottom rear of the bag.

Every fall the wife and I would argue over the damn leaves falling from the seven elms and maples in and around my yard.i waited til every last leave fell and she'd always be humming about leaves in the house,cars...everywhere.Besides paying kids to help it would take to weekends to rake them all . I swore to my self that was the last time i raked. Found the Billy Goat on line. Bingo...money well spent.no more bitchin about leaves .friend, a Billy Goat is just as important as a lawmower as far as I'm concerned,and you can't gind a better deal than Jack's has ...Nuff said.

Will this work on the street and sidewalk? I see that the hose kit is an accessory. Does the unit work without it?

Answer:

Cris, yes the Billy Goat KV600 works without the hose, which is used to reach places the front vacuum nozzle cannot reach. It will work on pavement and concrete.

We have a large sycamore as well as three tongue oil trees and two large magnolias all among many different plants and shrubs. The Magnolia leaves are the hardest to move around. will it handle this?

Richard, the KV600 should be able to handle those leaves since it is capable of handling leaves, seeds, mulch, blooms, branches, and even litter.
