Review:
Based on various reviews read while researching the TimeMaster 30 inch 190cc Personal Pace Mower, I had some reservations about purchasing this mower. However, after the first four
times using the mower, I am pleased with its overall performance. When mulching a taller stand of grass (cutting 50% of height), one has to move at a slower
speed so that the engine is not overloaded. I do agree with other reviewers that a more powerful engine than the Briggs & Stratton Model 120000 on this mower (perhaps 225 to 250cc) would
be a great improvement. Cutting a 10,000 sq. ft. lawn area in the mulching mode requires about 1.5 tanks of gas. Thus, a larger capacity gas tank would be another desired improvement. On a cold start, the engine does start on the first pull. However, when
the engine is hot, or after filling up the gas tank, it requires 2 or 3 pulls to restart.
