Generators

Generators

Generators provide power for your work site, home, tailgating party, and most importantly, for an emergency. Mowers at Jacks has portable generators from Honda, Generac, and Briggs & Stratton.

Make sure you have a generator before the power goes out. Consider our standby generators for even more emergency backup power around the home.

Honda Generators

Honda Generators

A Honda generator or inverter puts the power back in your hands. Honda's legendary durable engines give you the reliablity you count on to power a wide variety of appliances. Never again will you be left in the dark.

Honda's generators are well-known for quiet operation, fuel efficiency, and increased run times that keep the generators operating longer, quieter, and cheaper.

Generac Generators

Generac Generators

Generac generators and inverters produce outstanding power at an even better value. The long-life Generac OHV engines ensure many hours of worry free operation and extended maintenance intervals.

Generac's GP Series portable generators earned the Good HouseKeeping Seal, reassuring consumers on their product-buying decisions.

Inverter Generators

Inverter Generators

An inverter is a smaller compact generator that uses a special microprocessor to produce clean, stable, and consistent power. Inverters protect against damaging power fluctuations that could harm sensitive electronics, like computers.

Inverter generators are lighter, more fuel efficient, quieter, and produce higher quality power than standard generators. Many inverters have parallel capability to double your power output.

Portable Generators

Portable Generators

Portable generators supply you with power when and where you need it. Whether your on a family camping trip or powering a backyard barbeque, portable generators are the ultimate traveling power machine.

Lightweight hand-held portable inverters can be easily carried, while heavier generators have foldable handles and sturdy wheels to transport in the yard or around the rugged jobsite.

Generator Wattage

Generator Wattage

Generators measure their power output in Watts. Portable generators can range from under 1000 Watts, up to 17500 Watts (Generac's GP17500).

Each generator has a rated and a maximum(starting) wattage. Rated wattage determines the power the generator can continuously produce. Maximum(starting) wattage is the power the generator can produce for a short period of time.
